Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet new places and new people.
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. Had a split childhood in both countries. I am a big fan of all things technology. I follow tech news as much as possible and try to keep up with new things. Up until now I've never had the opportunity to do much traveling so I have a lot of catching up to do. Full disclosure, I can be a bit quiet at first but I make my best effort to warm up to conversation quickly.
PHILOSOPHY
I mostly try to live my life in my own way, searching for what makes me happy and passionate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just starting so, for the moment, I try to attend meetings locally to get familiar with what couchsurfing really entails.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've attended a couple of meetings in the city. I would like to get more involved in the near future.
Interests
Good literature, Creative writing, Learning languages, Design, Technology, Gathering random facts, Mind games and puzzles. I really enjoy musical theater. Interested in getting introduced to outdoor activities or things that require movement (I've never been much into exercise, but might as well start). Traveling through Europe while I do my Masters.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I like musicals, a lot. I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy. Not a big fan of overly gory films. Some films I like: Rent, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Pride and Prejudice, Casablanca. Discovering good movies is one of the things I really enjoy, I welcome obscure, non-mainstream cinema.I also find myself watching a lot of reviews of movies, rather than actual movies in http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/ (publicity not intended).Music: http://www.last.fm/user/MandiMagenta. Books: (Favorites) Los renglones torcidos de Dios and Edad Prohibida, both by Torcuato Luca de Tena. For fiction, I generally like books that deal with psychological issues, dystopian futures and science fiction. For non-fiction, I like history, technology related and general random facts.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would mostly like advice on when to start when traveling through Europe. I can share my cup of tea on subjects like feminism, ethics and technology and some other "serious topics" I enjoy discussing.
