I am an easy going and open minded traveller from the Netherlands, currently living in Barcelona. I have a great passion for traveling, meeting new people and discovering other cultures! Besides that I love cooking, filming/photography, design, music and sports.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While travelling I always like to do something for the local community of the place where I go, so I have been working as a volunteer for development projects (like orphanages), hostels and even a music festival in Spain. When I am at home I want to give other travellers the possibility to come to my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the people that stayed at my place became my friends with who I am still in contact with. I also had some good couchsurfing experiences in Dublin and Rome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Guatemala I camped in the jungle of the Tikal national park, to see the sunset and sunrise on top of the maya temples. In Semuc Champey I went into a cave full of water, walking and swimming around with only a candlelight. In Indonesia I climbed and watched the sunset over the Merapi and Bromo vulcanoes.
