I love meeting new people, and can usually find someone to chat with in almost any environment. I love sharing home-cooked and restaurant meals with friends old and new, and I'm always glad to grab a cup of coffee or a beer with visitors. Proud part of #TheAuntieNetwork.

I'm really into food, hockey, and photography, and you can usually find me at the intersection of these three, or meeting new people and talking about all of the above. I love meeting new people, which is one of the reasons I love CouchSurfing.

I was privileged to witness a space shuttle launch in person. I've watched as many launches on TV or online as I could, but remarkable as that experience can be, it pales in comparison to FEELING the roar of the rockets before you can hear it. Even though I'm not as religious as some folks, I was also awed by the palpable feeling of holiness surrounding the sites of the western world's major religions, in such remarkable proximity to one another in Jerusalem.
