About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Become the best version of myself and see the world one step at a time!

ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Michael a 26 Year old German born Aussie. Despite having lived in Australia for most of my life I’m still a German at heart (this probably explains why my mind is always thinking outside Australia)

My journey began after I finished High School and decided to work and travel in Europe along with two mates. Spending almost a year over there, it really opened my eyes to something different and I've never been the same since!

As for right now, I've just completed my first year of uni (yes, I'm a late bloomer :P) and I'll be on exchange in Germany starting February 2018 and finishing at the end of December 2018

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone needs to do at least one thing in their life: travel.

Simply because travelling takes you away from what you are used to, takes away your usual routines etc. and opens your mind up to a whole new page, where you can experience so many new and awesome things. When people say it changes you, I believe it definitely has this effect since travelling can easily challenge you and put you in new, interesting situations each and every day. We're only given one life, so let's live it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By surfing around and meeting of all kinds of CS members! I'd like to be a host one day, but my current situation has led me back to surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few couches in Europe and more recently West/East Coast America and Canada.

They have all been very different and awesome experiences!

Interests

Traveling of course, and everything that comes with it. I absolutely love meeting people, sharing stories and random knowledge with others.

My degree, which is centred around international business.

Oh, and I love cooking! I like to think I'm a bit of a Masterchef in the kitchen. I always like trying new things.
