I split my time between living in New Orleans, AND traveling the world.

People fascinate me, all types of people. I love to share experiences and points of view. I admire people who can be away from "home" traveling for a year or more.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting. I may be able to host one (1) person, non smoker. Occasionally I surf and I have met incredible people every place I've visited during my journeys.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before couchsurfing even existed, in a blizzard in Oregon, car wouldn't go any further, just knocked on someones door, they were SO gracious.
In Tzintzuntzan,Mexico, 20 years after my first visit and there's still no hotel,asked around among the shop keepers, ended up staying at the mayor's house, the señora was so sweet!

Pick two or three moments that left you awestruck. What were they?

Those would have been moments when I was younger, I am not so easily awestruck anymore.
I have extensively traveled the world, and I am fascinated and my mind is blown by the kindness and generosity of strangers as I travel this beautiful planet.
