About Me
ABOUT ME
Barev, Hellow, Bonjour, Privyet, Merhaba, Buongiorno, iBuenos dias, Konnichiwa, Guten Tag, Bom Dia, Czesc, Szia.... And so on, my dears. I am a person who leads an exiting and dinamic lifestyle. The most intersting thing for me is to meet new people of different cultures to change ideas, lifestyle and traditions. I firmly believe that the family tourism is the best way to do so. Also, this is the best way to promote the international and intercultural solidarity. Moreover, this helps immensly to privent nationalism and war between countries and sociaties. In addition, this type of tourism generates tolerance and brotherhood between nations and simply enables to make new acquaintances. From my point of view, it is better for tourists to get hosted at private houses by native families rather than at hotels, inasmuch as, it gives opportunity to forigners to have a closer look to native lifstyle, culture and traditions. So, lets make new friends from all over the world....
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life for people who need me, I am trying to live for humanity. That is really hard, but I am trying to stay just a human being,a small part of mankind not to lose my humanitarian approach towards everything and everybody in every step of my life. And I live for myself, trying to know me better deep inside. Maybe God has gifted me something which this EARTH needs .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I remember a nice French-Russian couple with whom I had a chance to get acquainted in Yerevan. I was in a military service and had a short holiday, so I was coming back to Vanadzor for 3 days. We met in public transportation and after a short talk it was clear that they are eager to reveal Armenia and know Armenian people and culture. They were looking for an accomodation in Vanadzor and I invited them to my home. We spent an unforgetable day in a hot environment. It was a day of great cultural exchange and friendship which is still going on. Elena and Gwen Brocqs told me about Couchsurfing and since that time I am here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My real experience to host foreigners begun before my participating to Couchsurfing. As I told, I hosted a nice French -Russian cople in 17 May, 2013. After this experience I realized that hosting new people of different cultures is something new and interesting, so I decided to take part in Couchsurfing.
Interests
My interests include pilgrimages, hiking, literature, art and painting. Most of all I enjoy to paint on national Armenian bread, which is called 'lavash'. This kind of bread is very common in Armenia. Lavash has a flat surface and after dring the bread it is possible to draw what you want. It is my small invention. I do not know anybody else who paints on lavash. Come to my home and I will show you my lavash-paintings.
