ABOUT ME

I'm curious about pretty much everything. I love learning new things, meeting interesting people, and finding out about stuff. If you got something fun to tell, I'm interested in hearing it. And if you're interested, I also have some interesting stories.

I'm in a science research job right now, which I really enjoy. I love the outdoors, and a good outdoor hike with friends. But cities are great too and living near San Francisco is awesome. I like things off the beaten track, and have a few unusual hobbies (large scale artwork, mountain unicycling, ...).

But I mostly enjoy doing things and spending time with friends and other good people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only couchsurfed a few times, but have had many guests from all over. So far, all have been great! Some of my guest have become friends that I'm still in contact with today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling north of the Polar Circle in Norway. Canyoning in New Zealand. Going to Burning Man in Nevada in the US. Sailing in the Caribbean. Unicycling on the Great Wall in China. Ok, that was more than one thing.
