About Me

CURRENT MISSION

postpone grad school

ABOUT ME

Until recently I was a humanities and writing teacher in Seoul. Now I'm a law student. The fact that I'm a first year law student means I probably won't be a very good host.
An interesting facts about me: I miss a lot of flights (30 at least).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed with some awesome people in Asia and the U.S. My experience with CS made my trips infinitely more rewarding--it was such a great way to travel. I have also hosted a couple of people in Seoul and had some pretty solid experiences with them as well.

Interests

Playing tennis, working out at the gym, shopping, discovering great restaurants, rumbeando, wandering city streets, afternoon coffee, night time coffee, visiting museums, NY Times

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode through the Colombian jungle on a horse in the middle of a tropical storm. An old Colombian cowboy kept smacking my horse with a whip to make it go faster, which would have been fun were we not on the side of a cliff going over slippery rocks. I also met Rafael Nadal. That was very exciting for me. One time in Oaxaca the police robbed me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a fair amount about Latin America, especially Bogota and Buenos Aires, so if you're traveling there or anywhere else in the neighborhood I can most likely hook a brother up with good recommendations.
I also really like languages. My Spanish is pretty snappy but I need to practice my French and Portuguese.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Cook Islands, France, Germany, Grenada, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, Martinique, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican City State, Venezuela, Virgin Islands, U.S.
