About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life well

ABOUT ME

I enjoy life. Or try to. In my free time, I'd love to by playing ultimate frisbee. I cook, but its more of an experiment. I find butter is a good ingredient if everything else is going wrong. I want to help people, but don't always know how. Traveling is more about people than places. I like meeting people. After living in Kazakhstan, I learned the joys of dancing big.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that attitude is everything. I like the Tao of Pooh. Always try to be positive. Life is precious and sacred and not to be wasted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a lot in Kazakhstan from 2009 to 2011. In the fall of 2011, I surfed my way down the east coast on solo bicycle trip. I've also used it when traveling in India and Sarkatvelo (Georgia).

Currently, I am living in Palo Alto in a studio apartment with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, we cannot host at the moment, but I would love to meet for coffee or drinks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Kazakhstan, I hosted a lot of great people. Lots of travelers along Silk Road tours, some hitchhikers, some walkers. Really, surprised about how many cyclists come through Central Asia. In India, I wasn't able to stay with any CS people, but I enjoyed meeting a few along with way for dinner. In Georgia, I was hosted twice, and it was a great experience.
