Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The last years I was not so active on couchsurfing besides local meetings. On my current trip I couchsurfed only in Hungary and I had an awesome stay with John in Dubai, but I plan to go more with couchsurfing as it is an awesome opportunity to meet locals who know their city the best.

Old experiences: I was at Lando's Halloween party 2008 in Detroit and at several CS Detroit meetups. I stayed with couch surfers in New Orleans and Austin and was at a CS New Year's Eve party in Monterrey. I also hosted a Japanese couchsurfer in Michigan.

Well, and I have some non-CS, but similar experience:
I participated in student exchanges to England, Russia, and Ukraine and stayed there with the students/their families. It was a great experience.
I did some kind of couchsurfing in Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Belarus by visiting students I know from AEGEE (european students' forum, www.AEGEE.org) and hosting students from the Netherlands and Ukraine.

Intereses

Stood next to the Grand Canyon, you have to be there, it's way more impressive than on pictures.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I won the second price in a cooking contest of the German-Chinese students association in Augsburg making Flammkuchen. I could prepare it again. And I can help with any problem regarding thermodynamics.
