About Me
I have been studying in Sweden during this past academic year, and am now spending the summer traveling through Europe before heading back to California in September. I try to live every day like it's the best day of my life, and I try to focus on the positive sides of every situation and appreciate life's little joys. I am also a realist, just a happy one :) I am trying to make the most of every day and live life to the fullest, and am trying to say yes to as many things as possible and experience everything I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and spending time with locals rather than just seeing tourist destinations on my own so that I can get a better sense of the culture in the places that I visit, and hear about the places I am traveling from the people who know them best and have first-hand knowledge about life in each place. I'm very open-minded and have really enjoyed the conversations I've had with people who have different opinions and perspectives than myself and I love looking at things from different points of view that I may not have considered before. I am quite new to couchsurfing, but I have only had great experiences with my hosts so far, and I plan to host guests as well when I get back to California.
Interests
I love traveling, of course, the outdoors, and exploring new places. I am doing some camping as well as couchsurfing throughout Europe this summer and have loved every minute of it.
I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and the interesting conversations that inevitably follow.
I am planning to go to veterinary school after earning my bachelor's degree, so I am passionate about animals and veterinary medicine.
I enjoy rock climbing, but haven't done it seriously or frequently in a few years.
I'm not very good at it yet, but I've started cooking with friends a lot more and have come to enjoy it much more, so while I may not be able to dazzle you with my culinary expertise, I can try and am always happy to cook together!
