Overview
About Me
I am a mother, a small business owner organizing and cleaning homes under the Zen Home name, and the founder of Electric Borealis, an LED hula hoop company where we also make light-up festival wear.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I plan on traveling from Seattle to Winchester, Virginia to be with my 10 year old son -- on my bicycle. I am looking for good people and safe places to get some nightly rest along the way. I'm not looking to stay for long periods of time, just a shower, a place to catch some Z's and be on my way to the next 100 mile ride in the morning.
This is one of those journey's where you'd go to the ends of the earth for your child, and I'm going to do so on foot. Well, by pedaling my bike there :) It will take me about a month to get to Virginia.
Interests
Spinning LED props, helping people create a comfortable, manageable living/work/art space, decorating, and creating fun light-up clothing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music but House, Glitch, and Trip Hop are my biggest loves. Movies: comedies mostly, hate horror flicks, passion for bad B-movies. Books, I read a ton until I had kids, now I mostly get my reading in online.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Graduate valedictorian.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to have spin-jam meet-ups where people can teach and learn from each other how to spin poi, hula hoop, spin staff, levi-wands, and all other flow props (toys). I'd love to meet people along the way to stop for a spin-jam in their city/town, whether it be putting one together ahead of time, or stopping to attend a flow community's already-in-progress flow session.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help organize a room in need of help. I de-clutter, organize and clean. I work fast and have before/after photos of some of my work, which can be found on yelp at: https://www.yelp.com/biz/zen-home-seattle-2 - I can dedicate up to 2 hours of my time to assist in return for the safe place to sleep, which would get a lot done in that time.
