Hello everyone! My name is YuTing, or if you find it hard to pronounce, my friends also call me Mia:)
I am a Taiwanese girl who's gonna visit Europe from Sep 22th -Dec 13th, 2022.
Although I have registered CS for a long time, I am quite NEW in CS. Back in the time I was only meeting people but never really tried to stay with local because I was too young and not feel confident to speak English!

However, I love the way throught chatting with people to experience a new culture, to meet new people and to learn new things. I also like to share my life and culture, which is also one of the reasons why I become a Chinese teacher now!

I really want to meet local people and traveling backpackers when I am on my journey.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I wanna make friends, having connections with the world, to know people from different places who share their stories about traveling with each other.
Meeting new friends always gives me a new fresh air to think, to create. Also I like to meet locals when I am new to a city so I could always learn how to live like a local!

I never thought I will be able to draw oil paintings, until I find my current part-time job!(I work in a oil painting studio.)

I listen different kind of music, but recently I found that I started to like the old songs that carrys my memory, youth and childhood.
I also like to go karaoke, my go-to song will be show youself from the disney movie Frozen 2!

Movies? Too many I can't pick! If I have to choose one it would be 'Spider-Man: No Way Homer.'
Some other movies on the list will be anything about Harry potter(my owl is still lost), disney movies(it is my childhood), and one very weird name called 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.' :P This movie made me decided to travel in Brighton, England!

I'm gonna say THREE Amazing Things I've Done

- Stay in Prague, Czech Republic for one semester but experiencing ankle twist for the first time in my life!

- Went to picnic in a park in Amsterdam with a bunch of people I just met that day and together we roasted a raw salmom.

- Running with my friends in the New Years Eve in taipei center, just for the firework(and we made it!!)

I really know how to make authentic Taiwanese cuisine(I promise it will not be stinky tofu=)

Since I am a Chinese teacher, I can share a lot of Asia culture including Taiwan history or fun facts about Chinese language.
