Présentation
À propos de moi
Hello. This is Mia, born in China, studied in Seattle, resigned cruise crew member, previous teacher & tutor.
This is my first time using Couchsurfing, but I'm excited to be part of this community.
I’m a friendly, easygoing, tidy person. I’m curious about exploring different cultures and local views. I believe that the best way to explore a place is through the eyes of the people who live there. So it would be wonderful if we can have some conversation over coffee instead of only a place for sleep. I’d like to swap stories, learn about your culture, and see your city through your eyes.
I really love natural landscapes – whether grand and majestic or gentle and picturesque, I enjoy them all. I especially prefer mountains, rivers, lakes, seas, and rural scenery.
I'm a huge animal lover too – I've had dogs, cats, and even hamsters as pets, so I'm completely comfortable around your furry (or small and fluffy) family members.
I DO NOT use CS as Tinder, If you have that purpose plz DO NOT message me.
I look pretty different with makeups on, so don’t get surprised when you first see me without makeup lol
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I just quit from a cruise ship and currently I’m backpacking through Europe. I believe that the best way to know and get close to a city is to live like locals or get the tips from locals.
When I return China I would also like to offer a couch or a guide just to pass the vibe and hospitality :)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I’d like to share my culture and experiences with you. If you are interested in leading Chinese I can also teach you some simple words. I can share some Asian cultures as well.
If we really hit it off, I'm planning to return to my hometown in China in June. You're welcome to visit China as well – and if the timing works, I'd be happy to be your free guide. I'll take you to try local food, enjoy local culture and special events. We would each need to cover our own costs. Also, if you need medical assistance while in China, I can help you navigate the hospital system as your guide (I don't charge anything, but you would need to cover your own hospital and travel expenses).
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I really enjoy cooking – nothing too fancy, just honest, tasty food. I also like mixing simple cocktails, so if you're up for it, I'd be happy to make you a drink or traditional Chinese food and chat about our days. (If there are available ingredients)
As a pet person, I’d love to help taking care of your pets. ( no spiders I’m afraid of spiders)
I also have tons of stories / cultures to share if u would like to know. Including Buddhism & Taosism in a local Chinese life :)
