About Me
I'm very adventurous and love to try new thing. Musts to visit anywhere I go: Museums (art and history), aquariums, ZOOS, famous/eccentric food places, historical sites. I'm terribly curious and love to walk around parks and city blocks. Taking those cheesy double-decker bus tours are always a blast. I've always wanted to try bungee and cliff jumping, also interested in flying.
I'm planning on opening my own bakery and food cart once I graduate Uni. Food is an incredible passion of mine and I am a great cook but always willing to learn more! I am very adventurous when it comes to food, I've had everything from pig intestines to sweet potato oatmeal pancakes. I've always wanted to try eating bugs, and only ever tried crickets. They were crunchy.
I'm also quirky and love to laugh. I love interesting words and fun facts. I drive a mini-van which can also be called an "I-married-a-surgeon" van, her name is Minnie. I love dogs so terribly much and am planning on getting a little English Bulldog puppy and naming him Eugene (after the Pink Martini song "Hey Eugene," one of my favorites). My parents raised me on Rock'n'Roll and Jazz. My favorites include: U2, Elvis Presley, Paul McCartney, Aerosmith, and Mick Jagger's brief but legendary solo career.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being as curious as I am, I get restless a lot. In order to remedy this I usually write, read, cook, and google things. So I decided, why not start traveling! I believe that experiences are made memorable by the people you go with, so I will always travel with one other person.
Interests
I love hiking and kayaking, old books and historical facts, the stars and the ocean, architecture and biological sciences. I like listening to stories and going to theme parks, I like plays, musicals, live music, and comedy shows. Also the Oxford Comma. I cannot emphasize how much I enjoy the company of dogs, not matter the age I will always call them puppies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Beirut, Lebanon, for 10 years. I have a bunch of family still in Lebanon and consider it home. I moved to the US when I was 12 to escape form the war in 2006
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am considered by many people as an 80 year old in a 20 year old's body, which I take as an absolute compliment. As goofy and fun as I am, I am incredibly satisfied with a night in. Not satisfied with parties, would rather sip and have intriguing conversations. Thats not to say I don't like dancing or drinking, I just find the weekly college parties to be routine and uncomfortable.
I love suggestions on places to go locally and also day trips.
