Overview
About Me
My name is Mia, I’m from Australia and currently living and working in Düsseldorf, Germany :)
It’s been a minute since I’ve used couchsurfing, but I’m back and travelling again :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Locals always have the best knowledge of cool places to go and fun things to do! I love meeting and learning about new people. I think everyone has such cool stories to share, and I want to hear as many as I can!
I think it’s also nice when I’m travelling alone to have someone to hang with for some of the time and have a base that feels like home 💕

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything you can even remotely boogie to I’m into music wise :)
I have this awesome movie streaming service called mubi that has all these excellent Arthouse or independent movies. Can recommend anything on there :)
Will literally take any book recos, but generally I enjoy non fiction, or fiction based around people and their behaviour.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve got a degree is psychology and psychophysiology, and one time I got to watch a real life, awake brain surgery. Wild!
Teach, Learn, Share
Currently learning German but I’m getting pretty good now (to my own surprise). I can teach you about neuroscience stuff (it always comes up in chats with me, don’t you worry).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love making people dinner and I always bring chocolate and red wine ;)
