Overview
About Me
I am working as an English teacher in Istanbul. I studied Arabic and Turkish while I was in college, hence the move over from the U.S. My mother is Japanese, and my father is American, so I grew up in both countries as well as in China and Korea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning about their experiences - travel is not only about the pretty sights, but getting to know the people in it.
Interests
travelling (like every other couchsurfer), running, drumming (Japanese Taiko and Darbukka), playing the oud, cooking, amateur photo/film, studying languages, escaping to nature.
