About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel and see the world, in very different ways! Complete the Seven Summits challenge! And to have been on all 7 continents!
ABOUT ME
I have lived in (and love) Edinburgh, Scotland but is for now back home in Denmark. I love planning to travel and go abroad - I might be planning 20 different things, and only 1 of them is gonna happen, but even that is pretty good :D
I am just getting started on my Master's degree, after having spend a year going on a "2014-2015 World tour".. It was a truly amazing experience, that cannot really be described. Those who have done similar trips will understand.! I went on my own, I wanted the freedom to go where I pleased, but ended up never truly being alone! The world is amazing, full of wonderful people, and hostels are usually the way to go! :)
After having traveled for so long, it is nice to have a small base again for a while (even though my heart crave another travel soon again ;)), so right now focus is on studying and hopefully earning a little more cash so I can go out again next year, just before finishing up my Master's and having to get a job and be all serious ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I still haven't tried hosting myself. Hosting has been difficult, as I lived at home for a long while, then staying in flat with 3 other girls in Edinburgh, and now only have a small room in a dormitory in Copenhagen. I simply don't own a couch right now. I plan to though, at some point ;)
I have stayed with one couchsurfer, when I traveled in New Zealand, Auckland, and it was a fun experience!! It is amazing that people let you into their lives that what, even just for a few days! Definitely something I am gonna be doing again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stood atop Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Bungee jumped over/into the Nile.
Slept next to (and almost got stepped on) hippos and crocodiles.
Was in the middle of thousands of wildebeest migrating from Kenya to Tanzania.
Patted wolves in Sweden.
Watched the sun rise over Grand Canyon.
Snuck my way into Burj-al-Arab.
Trained Muay Thai in Thailand for 6 weeks.
Diving - I've had a bit of fear of open water/ocean, but I got through it and learned how to dive! I'd like to think that makes me appreciate diving and the wonder of the ocean more :)
Hobbiton in New Zealand - as a huge fan, this was one of most amazing things I have seen, I was so thrilled to be there :D :D
Also in front of the FRIENDS building in NY - a big fan!! :D ;)
Japan!
Teach, Learn, Share
Remember to also appreciate all the little things in life, and all those moments that may not be qualified to be noted under "One Amazing Thing I've Done". Those makes the life worth living too! :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
Positive attitude, always a great view on life ;) And if they'd like, I would love to share stories from travel and back home. The people I have met so far have really opened my eyes to other ways of living, other cultures, and how easy it is to think that you know somebody based on stories on TV and books. Oh, and I can Cook a bit :D Although my skills are mostly in the area of baking ;)
