About Me

My place is usually filled with friends, or friends of roommates, and I usually haven't stayed in one place long enough to host Couchsurfers unfortunately. I am hoping to change that later this spring 2024!

Spent the beginning of 2023 traveling around Southeast Asia and Japan. Visited the Pacific North West USA for the first time in July and it was GORGEOUS! The trees are so big 🌲 💚

Currently I am in New Zealand. A long time dream come true!

I have been so lucky to meet people from all over the world in my travels and living different places. I consider some of my closest friends to be people I met while traveling. I look forward to meeting you!

Feel free to message me with any questions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people (and their pets haha), hear stories, and learn from others. Oh and of course, be introduced to new foods!!!

Interests

Food! I love to eat food, prepare food, talk about food, and grow food.
I also love learning about different cultures, meeting people, animals (especially if you have a cat in your home!), history, being outdoors, and things that make me laugh. I am pretty relaxed and usually up for anything.

I enjoy volunteering and currently do once a week at the humane society cleaning the kitty area for people to come visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unexpectedly spending a few nights under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert while traveling in Jordan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach/share cooking. I have been working in restaurants for many years. I am also always eager to learn new recipes and techniques from different cuisines/cultures. I am also very interested in learning about different cultures and the history that made a place what it is today.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and bake. I am always happy to do so or share recipes as well as learn new ones!
