Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was lucky to get into couch surfing during my Australia trip and I must say that I had the chance to meet some of the kindest, most interesting and memorable people I have met on my journey. Each experience was simply amazing because the people I met did not only offer me a couch to sleep on but there was so much more to it: interest, wisdom, generosity, honesty and a glimpse into their lives.
For me personally, couchsurfing is one of the best ways to travel because nobody can give you a more authentic experience of a new country and culture than locals can. Locals, who are open-minded and welcoming enough to show you what they call home, to introduce you to their friends, take you to their favourite spot at the beach or to show you where you can get the best breakfast (because let's be honest, how good is breakfast?!). And that's why, ladies and gentlemen, I am on couchsurfing :)
