Prolongue my escape from the south pacific and see how the other half lives. Well, other 90% I guess.

ABOUT ME

Currently I am travelling around Canada and the United States, taking it all in, seeing where pop civilization was born. I have met many people, from First Nations folk on reservations, to seal hunters of the north, to indie music babes, to chilled out yoga instructors.

I have just finished a huge chunk of my life - full time university - and now I am enjoying reading novels again, writing, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Most people are good humans. Family and friends are the most important people in my life. I like to spend money on good food, but am bad at spending it on other things. I am searching for how to be a happy person in this world and what kind of contribution I can make.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just joined couch surfing, and am interested in getting more involved. I have a beautiful home in New Zealand, in which I can host people when they come down that way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have just had one experience - staying with a brother of a friend in Montreal, who happens to be a couch surfer himself. He put me on to joining up and getting more involved. We have had a great time going out for poutine, coffee and having great discussions about navigating this capitalist world with full awareness of it.
