Hi, there! My name is Mia and I'm a solo traveler that is obsessed at finding the next best destination with amazing wildlife and nature.

I was raised in San Diego, lived in Los Angeles and Denver, and for the past three years, I have been Portland.

By 2024, I'm looking to transition into a digital nomad lifestyle.

I love meeting and staying with locals! I enjoy "off the beaten path" travel and having authentic conversations with people from all over the world. When I'm visiting a new place, no matter how far, I want to get a wider view of a place.

I do run a millennial women book club in my home city, Portland, where we read all kinds of empowering and inspiring books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent three days at a 130-million-year-old jungle, called Danum Valley Conservation Area in Malaysia :).

I can share my tips on being a solo traveler as well as my experience growing up in San Diego and moving to multiple U.S cities in my 20s.

I want to learn about your culture and your way of life! I also crave to practice my Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Check out a local museum, take a short scenic hike, take a yoga or another fitness class or share a meal together! I'm a big foodie but am dairy-free + meat-free so as long as we can find something for both of us.
