ABOUT ME

I think of myself as easy going, and my interests span from gaming to books, travelling and parties, culture and history. Well, those were the interests I used to pursue before I got a child, at least. Nowadays I don't have much time for anything. I still read a little bit now and then, and squeeze in an episode of one TV-show or another, but the time when I would spend the weekend in bed watching Netflix and drinking wine is well and truly over, lol! I'm an introvert, so this isn't all bad to be honest.

PHILOSOPHY

My only wish is to not find myself in a retirement home at the age of 80, regretting everything I didn't do. I'd rather regret what I did instead of what I didn't do.

Host/surf now and then. Not much time these days though, being a single parent and all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted several people, and sometimes met up with Oslo CS'ers for parties and other events.

Music, gaming, travels, books, culture, history, parties, animals, good food.. and sleep? I love to sleep!
(and if only my son would agree with me that nights and early mornings are for sleeping, that would also be great...)

Favourite authors right now are GRRM, Murakami, Abercrombie and similar. Music wise I like folk metal, American folk pop and theatrical movie music. And various stuff in between too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My trip to Grenada in 2008 was amazing. I went there alone, to work as a volunteer with leatherback sea turtles, and the programme lasted for 3 weeks. For half a week before/after I stayed in St. Georges, and took my divers licence (PADI Open Diver). Saw lots of things, learned a lot about myself and others, and last but not least, I got to see and touch the worlds largest sea turtles! And yet this wasn't the best. While I was there, it was the time of the annual carnival, and we participated together with the locals, pretty much as the only non-locals around there. Truly a special experience I will carry with me, and it would be wicked to go back to the Carribean for carnival at some point in the future.
