ABOUT ME

I am pretty easy going and very open minded. I love trying new things and meeting new people. I am currently a volunteer in the Peace Corps, and everyday has new surprises and opportunities. I feel like my upbringing on a small vermont farm has prepared me for my village life here in Moldova.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the couch surfing experience, but I do have a couch and I am always willing to just meet up for a drink or a chat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only real couch surfing experience has been completely informal and crashing with friends. Before I joined the peace corps, I sold my car (to afford my trip) and took off across America and visited a bunch of friends all over the country. In Wyoming I visited a close friend who was new to the area, and she bought me a bed for the two weeks I was going to stay there.... When I objected and told her it was too much, she explained to me that she was happy to do it, and when I leave she would at least have a place to offer up to other couch surfers. Thats when I first heard about this site and decided that it was an awesome idea and I really wanted to be a part of it.

Interests

I love traveling, learning, exploring, reading and adventures. Amphibians are pretty awesome.... In the winter I loved playing outside, extreme sledding, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. I enjoy working in the garden and experimenting in the kitchen. Now that I live with a couple of beekeepers, I hope to learn the art of bee keeping and making wine.
