About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mindfulness, and adventure!! Motorcycle touring!!

ABOUT ME

Adventurous, fun loving, non-conventional. Sometimes introspective, sometimes outgoing. I like meeting and relating to a wide range of people. I especially enjoy people with a sense of humor, and people on their own path, who think independently, and don't just follow the crowd.
I'm an independent guy, with two furry, four-legged mischief makers, Smokey, and Brickell, who will meet, and greet you at my door. Beware, Smokey has a reputation for stealing socks !!

PHILOSOPHY

Mindfulness. Being in the present moment. It's all about self awareness and the human connection. Noticing the similarities we share, and the differences that make each one of us unique. Life can be a free fall sometimes, let go of expectations, and be open to possibility.....

"Our fears are like dragons guarding our most precious treasures". Rilke

"The adventure of the hero is the adventure of being alive" Joseph Campbell

"The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." - Winston Churchill

"I knew I shoulda taken that left toin' at Albuquerque" Bugs Bunny

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding my motorcycle cross country solo. Miami-CA -Miami. Riding the Pacific Coast Highway between LA and San Francisco.
Kayaking - I've paddled with sharks, alligators, crocodiles. Also dolphins, and almost capsized by a manatee. Night sailing from Miami to the Bahamas. Seeing the bioluminescent phytoplankton wash over the bow was an incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Coral Gables is a wonderful city, just south of downtown Miami. Minutes from MIA. The downtown area is a vibrant place. Restaurants are fantastic. It attracts a diverse crowd. The Biltmore Hotel is nearby - a landmark. There's Venetian Pool - a converted rock quarry that's on the National Historic Register. There's caves, waterfalls, and crystal clear water from an underwater aquifier. There's golf, tennis available too. The Coral Gables Trolley is FREE and will connect you with MetroRail and downtown.
