Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm so excited about couch surfing because it opens people the world! Because I am currently living in a dorm I am not able to host people right now, but I am always open to meet them for a coffee or drink and show them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After different couch surfing experiences, I am so thrilled by this kind of adventure. It couldn't have been better! For people who love traveling it's the perfect opportunity to explore another place and getting to know new people who enjoy life.

Interests

First of all, I love traveling! Becoming an au pair also gave me the opportunity to explore many different parts of the world. Sitting in a plane, seeing the clouds under me and finally, discovering an unknown place is what I live for! My goal is it to see as many parts of the world as I can!
But without sports I could not live either. Especially, outdoor activities are my favorites. Running along the Michigan Lake in Chicago, exploring the German forests on the back of a horse, enjoying the amazing view over cute valleys while rock climbing and going as fast as I can on ice skates and ski in winter.
Yeah and I love hanging out with my friends and also making new ones while traveling. Therefor, I need my different language skills I adopted in the past years. In fact, I love learning foreign languages and especially using them in other countries.
Moreover, I used to play the piano which included mostly soundtracks and modern compositions. I was never that interested in classical music.
Not to forget my addiction to take pictures! Some people find it annoying, others take their advantages out of it. ;-) Discovering new places, getting to know new people- everything has to be captured. A beautiful sunset on the beach, a snowy valley or the huge mountain in front of me- everything reflects the nature´s beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I never knew that there were birds with blue feet.

I never knew that turtles could live more than 100 years.

I never knew that a trip through the Ecuadorean Galapagos Islands would be SUCH an amazing time!
