About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore every single hidden corners of this world, to meet amazing people whilst doing it, to enjoy life as always
ABOUT ME
I am a travel pants! I get restless when life becomes routine. I am a cooking machine, will cook and concoct anything comes to mind. I am a dancing fury, will dance to any music. I am passionate, jovial, free-spirited, independent, optimist, feminist, and I work hard, so I can play harder.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a very optimistic person so I see the positivity in everyone and in all things. Live your life in full happiness. Do what you love, love what you do. "To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human" from the Matrix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year (April 04), I went on a medical mission with USC MMI (University of Santo Tomas, Medical Mission Inc.) in the Philippines. It was one of the best and most unforgettable experiences in my life. I assisted in gastric bypass, thyroidectomies, hysterectomy and performed my own minor surgeries (superficial cysts removal). The team consisted of doctors, residents, med students, nurses, nursing students, my uncle Ren (whom I'm so thankful for for sponsoring my ultra expensive airfare!), and myself. In a span of 4 days, we performed over 3000 physical exams, 224 major sugeries, over 400 minor surgeries, and 200 circumcisions...all for free. :) The feeling was very rewarding and indescribable. Can't wait to go on another one next year!
Teach, Learn, Share
The world is such a mess right now, but I know that through collective effort and thoughts, we can make a difference. I truly believe in helping those who suffer. I see myself doing this by starting my own organization to do medical missions throughout the world, giving free health care to people living underdeveloped countries and will try hard to stop health insurance companies in dictating what I can and cannot do in the medical field. I also think that the role of drug companies is so overrated that it basically needs to be limited. All in all, I know that this is not sustainable to our society and that there will be a change! I always refer back to what Ghandi said "be the change you wish to see in the world". Whatever you do in life, make sure you are happy and don't let anyone get in the way of your own convictions...know your rights!
