Update:
I am homeless!! But it’s great!
My husband and I just sold our house (03/26/2018) and we are so quick to be on the move. Let me explain.
Late 2017 we kept tossing the idea of life in the road and what that would like. We did tons of YouTube research and Instagram creeping of some ideas. And the VAN-LIFE stuck. This is absolutely wild for us. We went from a 4 bedroom house that we owned and 3 cars to this idea of nothing but what can fit in 78 sq. Feet. It’s wild! Some people don’t understand! People think we are crazy! We don’t give a shit! It’s our life.

I have a degree in education but choose to progress in a marketing career. I LOVE (y’all I can’t even explain) like LOVE coffee shops! I strive to support local businesses as well as black owned businesses (cause I’m black y’all ✊🏽) I’m active! I’m a yogi, biker, long boarder, who sometimes wears bras and sometimes doesn’t. I care about the things that need to be cared for; people, plants, health, love! I’m always learning. And I love learning from people’s life experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I did a bit of hosting. Now that I am unable to host , being able to Couchsurf while I travel the continent would be AMAZING. Of course I don’t NEED to couchsurf because I will have all I need in my van. I want to meet people, learn things from them! I want to have an impact on someone’s life. And as vain as it sounds, I want to be remembered, positively, by many I come into contact with. I love talking! I ask questions that others are afraid to ask. I listen with an intent to understand another. Not to judge, not to persuade.

The Boys in the Boat (I was a college rower. If you ever want to know what it takes to be a collegiate tower, this book is for you. This book speaks to my soul in so many levels and I would love to talk to anyone about how this book was my life in college.)
