About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"The same thing we try to do every night, Pinky, try to take over the world!"

Or just to travel as long and as far as possible :)

ABOUT ME

I like to think I'm fairly easy to get along with. I go back and forth between being very outgoing or shy and quiet, but always aim to be polite (shouldn't we all?)
I like to travel but haven't done nearly enough of it, and I'm hoping CS will open up a new window and allow me more options for traveling and meeting interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.
Live long and prosper.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any couchsurfing experience but would love the opportunity to get some!

Interests

Travel, books, beer, gin and tonics, day dreams, anything sparkly. People who are good story tellers. I like learning new languages though I'm sure I butcher them. Food. I LOVE food. Eating, cooking, baking, time spent in the kitchen is time well spent, and conversations always just seem to be better when food is involved..

Music, Movies, and Books

Books- anything by Isaac Asimov or Ray Bradbury (love sci-fi...), Flowers for Algernon, Fight Club, of course The Hobbit and Alice in Wonderland. I like nonfiction too but don't cling to it as much

Movies- I can probably quote every line from the Princess Bride, but I love lots of movies in general

Music- It's super cliché but I really could listen to most things, depending on my mood. Just no country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of a plane once...

And this one time, I quit my job and bought a one way ticket... Jury's still out on how this one ends up

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn to cook the food and speak the language of just about any place I visit. Teach me how to tell a good story.
What can I teach you? I'm not entirely sure, but let's chat and find out!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some laughs, some good stories, an attentive ear. I like to cook and sometimes manage to do it well :)
