About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meet new people and have fun doing it

ABOUT ME

American/British hybrid. Vagabond at heart. Living in London, but happiest exploring new places and meeting new people. That being said, London is a pretty awesome place (weather aside) to kick back for a while and use as home base for travels. Currently filling up the calendar with places to visit in 2012...hope to meet CSers wherever I go, and of course in London!

PHILOSOPHY

live life to the fullest!

Music, Movies, and Books

nerd alert: I've kept a book list since I was 12, so I have hundreds of fave books...a few recents are...Girl in Translation, Kafka on the Shore, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, First They Killed my Father, Empire Falls, Everything is Illuminated, The World is Flat

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunset over the Red River Delta in Giao Xuan, Vietnam. It was part of an amazing work camp weekend where we planted trees and helped educate the locals about environmental stewardship, and on the last night all of the volunteers stopped by the levee to watch the sunset. Just a great feeling of camraderie and beautiful scenery.

Also, I love love loved Petra...it's impossible to appreciate the scale and detail of the buildings until you're standing directly in front of them!
