Overview
About Me
I'm Mica from the Philippines. I'm currently studying in Kyoto, Japan. I've been living in the city for few years and became familiar with the area despite the language barrier. I like to walk around Kyoto during my free time and I like going to different cafes for tea or cake but would also go to the convenience store to buy drinks and just hang out near the river. I enjoy meeting different people learning about their culture or their experience in traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard about CS from some travelers that I met in Kyoto and I really got curious about the concept so I just downloaded the app. I wasn't able to believe it at first that such thing exist but it turned out to be fun and interesting. I'm enjoying CS so I'm still using it. I met good people and learned a lot of things. At the moment I couldn't accept guest but I would be happy to give recommendations or hangout.
I haven't had a chance to be a couch surfer although I became a host already. I would like to experience being a couch surfer in the future meeting and living with locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing that I've done is being a host in CS. It's a gamble and a game of luck. However long the letter included in the request doesn't guarantee a persons personality. I'm lucky, the people I've met were really good and I haven't had any trouble.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share travel experience and I could also cook Filipino or Japanese food. In some cases I could also teach how to play tennis or maybe even swimming.
