Hi! My name is Micaela, I'm 27 years old and I'm from Argentina. I live in Buenos Aires with my dog ​​Wilson and my cat Benson. Some people tell me that it would be much easier to travel if I didn't have them as roomates but I loooove animals and I can not avoid having them in my house because it would feel empty without them.

I work as a secretary in a steel company and I am currently studying to be a journalist. But there is nothing that makes me happier than traveling. I hope to combine my two passions one day and be able to work on that, journalism and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to visit those places that I have seen only on the web and know their people, their culture and their beautiful places personally and not through a screen. I never travel anywhere, I don't even know all the provinces of my country. Maybe because I don't have enough money to do it, but most of the time for fear that things go wrong or not being able to communicate in other languages or getting lost in a place I don't know. But throughout my life, I learned that if the plan doesn't work, you have to change the plan, but don't change the goal. That's why I'm looking for other alternatives to start traveling and CS is one of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't conceive life without music. I prefer rock but my musical taste is very varied. My favorite band is the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

I spend a lot of time watching TV series and movies, especially science fiction, suspense or action (sorry but not all women love romantic movies except Grey's Anatomy of course! haha)

I enjoy reading, but sincerely, I haven't done it for a long time :(
