About Me

I'm a passionate travaler who likes to get to know new people, explore new places and new foods, and talk about the society and the environment!

I'm from Portugal, and during the week I work on environmental issues and train for triathlon on the mornings, and during the weekend I usually travel around by train or bike, explore museums, play tabletops, and just get together with other people!

Interests

I already explored Portugal from north to south mostly by train and bike. But I've also explored Brazil, India, UK, Spain and France, and have a couple more countries I'd like to explore in my bucket list - right now I'm considering the Netherlands or Italy !

I also love to eat and explore different cuisines. The Portuguese cuisine and sweets are amazing, and it's developing a really great vegetarian cuisine as well! Internationally, Indian and Italian food are my downfall !

Another part of me loves to be in nature and do outdoors activities, such as hiking, cycling, camping and climbing. I'm currently training for a Half ironman triathlon race, which is a big challenge for me, but really satisfying and healing.

Finally, I'm engaged with the climate and society challenges we are facing and believe that I and we need to take action by our hands if we want to overcome them in a fair and sustainable way. I'm always looking for people to talk about this and to look for opportunities for change!

Teach, Learn, Share

In Portugal the vegetarian cuisine and codfish dishes are really good. In Lisbon you have to go to Oasis near Gulbenkian, and in Porto you have to go to Oriente no Porto.
For desserts, Aveiro's Tripas, Viseu's Viriatos, and Lisbon's Pastéis de Nata da Manteigaria are my top 3, with a lot of eggs cream and sweetness to them!

For the climate and society change, there's actually a workshop that teaches you about climate called Climate Fresk, which is amazing. You also also the podcast The Great Simplification, and Srsly Wrong are really funny while talking about this.
The Earth 4 All book is fantastic about society change, but you can start by checking the Club of Rome YouTube channel to see their playlist introducing these topics.
