About Me

Not easy to begin with the 'about me thing', even more when this not my native language. Let's give it a go anyway...

I do communications in a non profit organisation that takes care of families in need in a humble neighbourhood. Beside this, after 6 long years, I'm almost a bachelor in Social Communication, focused on Education, from University of Buenos Aires. I'm not sure how to describe my degree yet, something about cultural studies, semiotic, Karl Marx, Antonio Gramsci, Theodor Adorno, writing essays, radio... can't tell for sure. All I can say is that I've come across brilliant professors that I admire so much. And I definitely wouldn't be who I am without Public Education.

About my everyday habits, I go everywhere I can by bike, listening to Radio Sur. Yet, when I find myself forced to take the bus I always have something to read... any suggestions?

And there is also a 'Lindy thing' about me you might want to hear. I dance Lindy Hop since 2012. For a while, I can take my mind off when I'm dancing. It's really funny the way you connect with someone without talking, without knowing their names. I've come across many people from different countries and made amazing friends.

Finally, I'd like to share a little memory that summarizes a good bunch of ideas I had in my mind while writing this...
One night, some buddies and I tried to figure out what made us friends. As we are a group of 12, you could imagine how different we might be... We don't listen to the same music, we didn't go to the same school, not all of them love cats... is that even possible!? However, we all have shared a trip. Many of us have even started our friendship while travelling, without knowing it at first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer crashing in a cozy house rather being a hotel. And of course I'd like to meet people while I'm on the road. Sharing with locals seems to be the best way to get to know a place. But I wouldn't mean to disturb your schedule, I enjoy being by myself too.
