Hi there! My name is Micaela, I'm from Argentina but I moved to Barcelona when I was fifteen. Moving countries at a young age has made me open minded and excited to learn new cultures. Although I haven't travelled as much as I would have liked to in the last few years, I'm determined to change this! I am eager to learn new traditions and maybe make them mine too :)

I am also a huge fan of cheese, french ones specially. You'll very rarely see me eating a meal without it, or having it as my main meal. ;)

I am also very interested in football. Although I live in Barcelona, I'm a big fan of Real Madrid which can lead up to many heated discussions! Haha And in my spare time I like playing football too, if not with my little sister then with work mates or at the beach.

A friend recently told me all about it and I'm excited to become a part of it! I have just moved to a new flat so I'll be looking forwards to hosting and meeting people from all over the world :) I'm lucky that Barcelona is such a popular city and I get requests very frequently.

Also I've recently finished a short-films course which I enjoyed very much and I'm ready to put all that theory into practice,

I listen to indie music mostly. My favourite band are the Arctic Monkeys, closely followed by The Smiths. And then: Belle & Sebastian, The Strokes, The Beatles, The Stone Roses, The Libertines, Blur, Velvet Underground, Miles Kane, Zahara, Oasis, Phoenix, Radiohead.... you get the idea.

I've watched too many films, so I can't say that I have a favourite film. Most of the time though, I rather watch TV series, my favourites at the moment are Game of Thrones, Orphan Black, Grey's Anatomy and Orange is the New Black. And my all time favourites have to be, Friends (Phoebe is the best one!), Gilmore Girls and Buffy the vampire slayer.

Lately I've been hooked on to Camilla Läckberg's books. I also like Ken Follet and most crime-fiction novels.
