About Me
“The core of mans' spirit comes from new experiences.” ― Jon Krakauer, Into the Wild
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since the very early years of my childhood, traveling has been a huge part of my life. As I have now lived in the United States for 15 years, I feel that I have lost some of the curiosity and excitement that traveling gave me as a young boy. I have realized that American society puts a tremendous amount of pressure on people my age to know what they want to do with the rest of their lives by the time they graduate from higher education. I am halfway done with the third year of my college education; I have one year left and I still have no idea what I want to do with my life. The only thing I know for sure is that, whatever I do, I want to travel. Some of the best memories of my life have come from the times that I lived over seas, or was traveling with my family. I want to recreate those memories, and discover things about myself that I haven't encountered yet. The reason I am couchsurfing is because I want to challenge myself to live outside of the mundane; I want to meet new people and have new experiences.
