ABOUT ME

I'm currently a college aged student living in Oskaloosa, IA. I was recently injured in a motorcycle accident on my way home from Alaska. The accident happened on July 22nd, 2013 and I am now paralyzed from my mid-chest down. This was quite a life-changing accident and I was planning on living with my best friend for the next year or so, but I'm currently living with my parents, trying to adjust and become more independent. I'll probably be moving within the next year or so and getting on with life, however, I'm not entirely sure what I'll be doing yet. So I may go to school and I may not, regardless I love travel and I love people and I would love to see the world.

This accident and wheelchair have given me so many opportunities to show people how to have a positive perspective. Certain things are more difficult, but life is still livable and lovable. Also, wheelchairs are joke machines! There are so many opportunities to crack jokes about being paralyzed!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once ran through Walmart in a Speedo... It was initiation to be a part of a group in high school called the A-Team. It was exciting!

I also drove to Alaska from Iowa and half way back on a motorcycle!
