Overview
About Me
All over the place (in the best of ways [at least in my opinion]).
I volunteer frequently with a few different food shares around San Francisco, including Food Not Bombs. If you're interested in getting involved while you're in town, I would love to connect you.
I work sporadically between travel w SF as my home base at the moment.
I enjoy going out dancing and to dive bars, drinking with friends on the sidewalk, skating around, going to shows, and dumpster diving.
I am finishing up the conversion of my home, a box truck that is now a functional studio apartment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the past I have traveled and been hosted with generosity. Now I have my own space to share, and would love to return the hospitality that I have received [:
Interests
THE OUTDOORS- I love spending my time outside! Whether it be hiking, rock climbing, skiing, long boarding, kayaking, picking flowers, picnicking, or just reclining under a tree, if it's outside, I'm into it.
SHARING FOOD- 40% of the food produced in the US gets wasted, so I do my part to offset this disgusting squandering of resources.
MUSIC- Singing, playing, dancing and of course listening. I am always excited to discover new music and love to jam.
WRITING- I love to read and write and often compose poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Iscosasin, Peru, a small pueblo in the lower jungle where my amiga Christina's father lives and runs his own ranch including cows, pigs, ducks, chicken, yuca, and coffee.
While traveling through Peru I spent 3 days eating completely natural food here and enjoying the endless green beauty of the jungle. In the nearby pasture where the cows graze my friends and I picked hallucinogenic mushrooms from the caca and, after washing them off in the river, ate them and enjoyed a surreally natural experience.
We spent our trip submerged in a jungle river and its shores. Clouds passed overhead transforming between a myriad of beautiful patterns in our eyes.
The river washed the filth of society from our bodies as we effectively became one with the jungle for a day, if not in reality then in spirit. I have never been in such awe of the beauty of this world which we live in, or in such gratitude for the fact that I have this life to experience such beauty with.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to eat for free in any metropolitan area, if you're interested... Unlimited free produce...
Can share my experience converting a vehicle into a living space if you're interested.
I have a few more tricks up my sleeve that are less defined, such as the ultimate utilitarian bracelet, and am open to share just about whatever I know.
TEACH ME ANYTHING [: Nifty tricks, info about different places or cultures, whatever you'd like. If I'm not into it I'll let you know, but I'd be surprised if that's the case.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to cook for you, or at very least leave your cupboard s a little more full then when I arrived. I also have plenty of stories. Wouldn't mind sharing them (and hearing yours) over some beers, etc. My treat.
