I'm laid back, flexible, and searching for adventure. I'm interested in seeing the world, but seeing it the way locals see it. I want to know and experience different ways of looking at and living life. Finding myself along the way is a bonus.

Things that are new and different fascinate me. particularly new (to me) ways of life and perspectives.
I like to follow paths when I don't know where they go.
I enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, reading and writing, and being with friends.
I like scrambling, hiking, diving, kayaking, martial arts, kickboxing, archery, horseback riding, and polar bear plunges - but also chilling in a hammock or sitting and appreciating a view.

Music: Rock of all sorts but especially Classic Rock. My brothers addiction to epic soundtrack music has also grown on me. And many other songs as well.
Movies: I love comedy and action movies. Plus a lot of others.
Books: Far too many to name. Mainly fanstasy and sci fi, but anything really.

Sailing to New Caledonia, getting stranded, and working in a shipyard for three weeks.

Need an extra hand with something? I'm more than willing to help out.

I'm always ready to bake some rhubarb cake or banana bread - or just simple pancakes!
