We're here to build a durable network for conviviality, travel, mutual benefit and friendship to last a lifetime. Kindness, acceptance, self regulation and emotional maturity are what we try to bring.

Interests

Miccah Duckett and Joshua Tesch met three years ago and have been together since.
Both of us are deep into our own ways of esoteric learning, and we prefer "the scenic route."
We have experience feeding large groups together and we love to cook.
We are both experienced parents and hosts, having offered space and shelter to a wide variety of humans in our homes over the years.
Miccah has hosted unhoused young mothers and a wandering Druid.
Joshua has hosted a train hopper.
We have both experienced different lifestyles, hold many stories, and enjoy a vibrant social network in Western North Carolina.
Now, we are ready to travel.

Joshua:
Miccah: I love Electronica, dark ambient, classical and sacred music, Goth rock, symphonic metal, vintage grooves, psychedelia, dreampop, and groundbreaking artists of every genre. It's all based on mood. 🤌
Kate Bush, Kadhja Bonet, Tori Amos, Dead Can Dance, Crypt Sermon, Sisters of Mercy, Metatron Omega, Massive Attack, Pet Shop Boys and Radiohead are just off the top of my head.
I have a Depeche Mode tattoo, if that tells you anything.
For books, I prefer obscure and out-of-print esoteric, academic and radical feminist books tracing the occulted history of stolen women's power. My library is large and growing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Joshua: Lived in an army tent while caring for his infant son (now a preteen)!
Miccah: Freed herself from relationship and spiritual abuse while breadwinning for her two children (now grown)!

Teach, Learn, Share

Joshua brings outdoor leadership skills, love and light.
Miccah brings the Darkside, Goth and unsettling aesthetics.
We both desire lives of fun, exploration, compassion, inquiry, contemplation and creativity.
We bring different but effective ways of appreciating the world, and cultivating a sense of wonder.
We believe that travel is important for broadening experience.
We want to learn and teach and grow.
