Overview
About Me
Calm, relaxed and low-profiled. Friendly.
New in Couchsurfing - but more "host" than traveller, I guess.
Please note - cannot host guests for some time. Sorry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to welcome people from abroad to my city, and glad if I can help with small practical bits of advice. Also - it's always nice to share thoughts about life and society.
Occasionally I can offer overnight accommodation for 1-2 persons. (Depending on work situation and if I have my teenage daughter staying with me.) And happy to do, even if you just need a place to sleep.
I live in an ordinary flat in a calm area not far from the city. Bus+metro to the central station is around 30 minutes.
Music, Movies, and Books
Not a big music listener. Some classical, some contemporary, some swedish singer/songwriter ...
Like Stanley Kubrick films.
Used to read more books in younger years. Now occasionally some fact books, mainly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ehm ... I'm not that amazing ... More dull, sort of.
But I toured through Sweden with a one-man theatre play. Long time ago... :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
Hm. I am no party animal. (After all, I'm old enough to be a grandpa.)
With that said, I am nice, really. Just do not expect me to drag you around to a lot of exciting underground clubs and that sort of things. But I'd be happy to show you the city and surroundings. Or just be your serviceminded host.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Practical things, information of how things work in Sweden.
I can take you to places like "Skogskyrkogården" (Cemetary which is a World Heritage) or - in summertime - a nice little beach not far from where I live.
Or just have a cup of coffee and talk about life or why Sweden is the most extreme society in the world.
