Hey there! My name is Michael and I am a 29 year old from Cork in Ireland. I am currently living in Chicago where I am a PhD student in cultural anthropology.

I have previously lived in the UK, France, Lebanon and Morocco. I love travelling solo and meeting new people, getting to know new places and showing people around my favourite cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning a solo trip to Poland (Gdansk, Warsaw and Krakow) from 5-13 September. It's my first time visiting Poland so I would love to stay/hang out with fun local people to drink beer, go dancing, see unusual sights, bike around and chat about left-wing politics together.
