Born and raised Michigander now living in the great city of San Francisco. I love being outdoors, cooking, meeting new people, and exploring places through their neighborhoods, food, and history.

I’m especially interested in local history and the small stories that make a place feel alive. In San Francisco, I get to share that curiosity as a volunteer walking tour guide with the nonprofit San Francisco City Guides. If you’re ever in SF, I’d be happy to have you join one of my tours or point you toward one of the many great tours SFCG offers.

I’m always excited to explore new parts of the world, whether that means a road trip through North America or a bigger adventure abroad. I’m pretty easygoing, respectful, and always happy to cook, walk around, swap stories, or learn about someone’s favorite local spot.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

For me, Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to experience a place through the people who live there. I’ve only couchsurfed a handful of times, but each experience has reminded me how much better travel is when it leads to real conversations, new perspectives, and new friends.

I’m here to meet friendly, open-minded people, learn about the places I visit beyond the tourist version, and hopefully share some good company along the way.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Favorite book is hands down the Three-Body Problem with The Martian as a close second. Notable mentions include the rest of the books in the Remembrance of Earth's Past saga and the original dune saga.

Favorite movie is Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I'm not sure what makes that movie so special, but something about it always cracks me up.

Favorite artist is Droeloe. For some reason listening to them always helps me get back in the jam and be energized for whatever comes my way.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I bike packed from Los Angeles to San Francisco over the course of a week. Yes I know it was the wrong direction (constant southbound wind along the coast) but it made the journey that much more rewarding to complete it!

I can share a positive attitude to help bring energy to whatever task is at hand during the day!

Also would love to be a sous chef when it comes to cooking a meal or being a helping hand around the house.
