Hi, I'm a kind and always happy boy, whose name is Benjamin ("Ben" ) :) . In general, people see me as a very social person, who always wants to help others and prefers to share its happiness instead of being selfish. I'm also extroverted, what implies that I love getting to know people all over the world. That's why I'm looking forward to spend one year in Andalusia, Spain, after I will be finished with my school-graduation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I'm officially (but not mentally :)) a very young man, I like traveling with friends or even alone, without my parents, who totally agree with it. With Couchsurfing, I have the absolutely perfect opportunity to visit new places in the world, but also to meet new, friendly people! I'm also very interested in international cultures and I think with Couchsurfing I can get to know these new cultures very well, because of the hosts who can show them to me.

Interests

As mentioned in the introduction, I'm the actual opposite of a selfish guy. That's why I'm such a good team-player in Basketball and play in a professional youth-program. Apart from that, I also love enjoying basic things which make me happy: good food, what explains my obsession to cook (esp. Italian dishes!), music, traveling. But above of all of that, I'm always happy when I'm among my family & friends !!

Music, Movies, and Books

In general I like almost every style of music, but mostly hip-hop, rap and spanish music. Be it Pop, Gospel, Folk or even Country, I basically like everything, as long as it's good music. I often hear to some old-school hits, too.

I like every kind of movies and books, as far as they're about an interesting theme, but as I'm almost interested in everything, it's a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

On one side I love learning new things from people who inspire me and also getting new information by myself, apart from school, through literature, etc. On the other side, I like sharing my knowledge with other people, who I can help, a lot. This is a reason why I want to go to University after my year in Spain in order to become a teacher in Spanish and Sports/Physical Education.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a well knowledge about my personal, german culture, as I have always lived there, but also about other things, like sports, food, movies, etc. But I think what is more important is that others can always have fun with me, because of my friendly personality
