Currently on a mission to put together a world record hike around the world. After traversing the Appalachian Trail I have become addicted to hiking. At the moment training on different sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. Originally from MI, also have lived in CA and CO as well. Just a human learning daily on a walk towards peace and balance :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the greatest parts of my travels has been meeting people. Listening and learning through exchanging stories. To have found a network of people whom feel the same is an incredible resource. I'm new to this, but after this adventure I am excited to host as well.

Interests

Of course hiking, but I also find joy in painting/drawing, playing anything that makes noise(bass guitar is my favorite), poetry, and I love reading books that are knowledgeable.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a musician I have learned to appreciate any approach to music and can honestly say I have personal favorites in all genres.
I am a lover of any cheesy "B" flicks, older movies, and am dying inside from the re-makes haha. Also love anything nature/science related.
When reading although I enjoy some fantasy, spirit\science knowledge are my go to. Poetry is also quite fun, but no personal favorites.
