Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to try and see a place from a different perspective rather than from a hostel/hotel. I feel as if in the hostel I am very much tied into the tourist perspective and by using Couchsurfing hopefully get to see the local perspective. Whether it be going for food somewhere or just a chat about things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Don’t usually listen to music, if I have my earphones in I am usually listening to a podcast. Hello internet is my favourite and what got me into podcasts. But when I go on YouTube looking for a song it usually ends up on The Dubliners.
Movies: The one movie I always recommend that most people have not seen is “The Great Debaters”
Books: Freakonomics, highly recommend. Very easy to read as each chapter is basically its own anecdote, and everyone loves an anecdote, but the best thing is that they back up their story with facts and figures.

Can teach you how to sing seven drunken nights, but I forget Sunday.
