Overview
About Me
I’ve been a working musician for more than 50 years. Played some the biggest stages with some of the most famous artists of all time. And some if the worst dives and hellholes you can imagine!
My wife and I , and our small pack of pups, live off the grid in a house built of repurposed shipping containers on a farm in a tiny farming town outside of Caoe Town, South Africa. I make my living making music. Festivals. Markets. Busking. Music venues. Anywhere that lets me entertain folks and earn my daily bread - I’m there.!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On July 4, 1976 , the American Bicentennial, I played a festival for 110000 people in Tampa Florida. We shared the bill with the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Loggins & Messina and a number of other artists. Was a great night!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’ve been clean and sober for more than 32 years. Perhaps I can the experience, strength and hope I’ve gained from that.
I’ve also been a college-level lecturer on music business, music production and entrepreneurship.
I also built our container home myself, so I’m pretty qualified to share knowledge on sustainability and off the grid living.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share music. And stories. Reasonable scrambled egg breakfasts. And takes from the long road of an artist’s life.
