I am easy going, love sailing, nature and the mountains. I enjoy looking behind the shiny facade and discovering local culture as well as places off the beaten track.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Two good friends were going around Kyrgyzstan, a very recommendable place, in a 4x4 camper van and I joined them for their last week. We went off the beaten track and not meet any other tourists for days. By the time we had to go back to return the van, I was hooked on the landscape and ability to cover large areas with that vehicle and stay in the most beautiful places not found on any map. With my friends returning home and my holiday not over yet, I decided to extend the rental. However, these adventures are a lot more fun when you are in a group. I joined couchsurfing and found two cool and pragmatic people to join me spontaneously. Now is the time to continue meeting great people and creating lasting memories by doing activities together.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Relocated a yacht as skipper in autumn (pantarhei2012.wordpress.com). That meant being out on the sea for three weeks with only short periods of time on land. Being autumn, it was quite windy, but not in a favorable direction. We had to use the engine a lot and were bouncing around quite a bit more that expected.
