Hi! I'm a 28 year old touring musician and songwriter from Brisbane, Australia (and former lawyer). I used to be in a band that toured many times in USA and all around but now I'm working on solo project (Michael David Thomas Music). I have recorded 4 albums (and written with some of the best songwriters in Australia and USA. My couchsurfing experience started over 5 years ago in Strasbourg, France. Since then I have travelled all over Europe, and the USA with my band, and have hosted musicians and non-musicians! Keen to meet locals and share culture, music, language, philosophy et al. I am interested in literature, history, politics and social causes. Happy to host you in Brisbane, Australia, and connect you with like minded people when you arrive. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am happy to host any bona fide couchsurfer. I believe in this platform as a genuine way for people to travel the world and experience life with like minded people. I would like to give back to all the amazing people that have shared a couch, a beer and a smile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some amazing friends through couchsurfing. I remember arriving in Strasbourg many years ago, not knowing anyone and being hosted by a great guy who showed me around town, invited me to a few parties and I became great friends with his network. It was a great first experience of couchsurfing.
