ABOUT ME

Hey my name's Mike, I'm an English backpacker who was working/traveling Australia for 2 years and I have now come straight to NZ for the next adventure (literally just arrived here).

Hoping to meet many more friendly people whilst in NZ and have some unforgettable memories.

PHILOSOPHY

It is a big and beautiful world. Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it. I don’t want to be most of us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm unable to host at the moment as I am still backpacking around NZ, I'm prepared to do any kind of work/labour to earn a place to sleep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only stayed at one couchsurfing host's place whilst in Australia and it was great because I could experience and appreciate life in regular Australian house as opposed to staying with other backpackers all the time.

I'm the kind of guy who loves actions films and can recite every line of the Lord of the Rings trilogy (Like most tourists who come to NZ so you're probably sick of people like me lol).

As for music I love classic rock, Alternative rock and 90's Rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled America and Australia as well as earned a degree in Film Production.

Teach, Learn, Share

I worked with children for two months at an American summer camp, teaching basic video production skills.
